Yet another example of a member of our staff doing outstanding workI must praise Mairi Hunter-Barr for her outstanding initiative on setting up a string ensemble in Maidenhead. Despite the weather, 13 children turned up to the first session and we expect even more as the weeks progress. This is a stunning example of the professionalism that we have amongst our staff. This was Mairi's initiative, she saw a problem and developed a solution. We are so lucky to have the very best teachers who put consistently outstanding effort in to support and improve the organisation week after week. Mairi – you are my star of the week, well done.
