Help with fees

Berkshire Maestros, together with our local authority partners, is keen to ensure that all children are given the opportunity to learn a musical instrument, irrespective of family circumstances.

To this end, mechanisms are in place to offer financial assistance to families who may otherwise be unable to support and encourage their children’s musical development with Berkshire Maestros.

We are very grateful to the Lions Club of Windsor who fund a number of bursaries for promising youngsters showing genuine musical talent. The bursaries were set up in 2007, in honour of Lion Tony Fennymore, who passed away that year.

Six annual bursaries, intended to partially fund music lessons, are available to pupils currently learning with Berkshire Maestros. Any pupil under the age of 11 and living in the Royal Borough of Windsor & Maidenhead can apply for one of the bursaries subject to certain terms and conditions (see below).
