Calling All Guitarists

Sign up for this fun-filled two day course to celebrate the start of the Christmas holidays.

We will learn three much-loved Christmas songs and perform them to friends and family at the end of the second day.

There will be games and a quiz with prizes too.

This course is for children aged 8-12. It doesn’t matter if you are a recent beginner* or you have been playing for a while, there is a special part for you.

Don’t forget to bring your packed lunch and a pencil!

* To be able to get the most out of this course participants need to have been learning for at least six months and have a clear understanding of the names of the strings, know the fretted notes A C D F G and high A, and be able to read basic notation/ tablature.

Essential information for participants and parents

This is a two day course
Participants must attend both days
The cost of the course is £65.00

Participants will need

  • Guitar, footstool and a pencil
  • A packed lunch and snacks to see them through the day
  • A small amount of money in a named purse for the tuck shop (optional)

On Day 1

  • Registration is at 10.00am
  • Course ends at 4.00pm

On Day 2

  • Registration is at 10.00am
  • Informal Concert starts at 3.30pm - parents and friends are invited to join us to listen to the results of the two day course
